China Construction Week (CCW) Nigeria Joins The Big 5 Construct Nigeria

As part of The Big 5 Construct Nigeria, running from 9-11 September 2019 at the Landmark Center in Lagos, the event’s partner MIE Groups proudly announces the parallel exhibition China Construction Week (CCW).

Background: MIE Groups is the organiser of the successful China Trade Week series across the Middle East and Africa. “With our participation with our highly esteemed partner The Big 5 Construct Nigeria, we are mainly focusing with our section on Chinese construction and building materials companies, therefore our division within the The Big  5 Construct Nigeria is called CCW,” said Zahoor Ahmed, Vice President Strategy and Partnerships at MIE.

The Big 5 Construct Nigeria 2019 boasts a total exhibition space of almost 4,000 square meters, harbouring over 100 exhibitors. An estimated 5,000 visitors will attend the show which also provides more than 20 educational sessions. The show comes at a time when Nigeria’s construction and housing market is booming. Earlier in July, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has raised Nigeria’s growth forecast by 0.3 percent to 2.3 percent.

“In support of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), CCW organizer MIE Events DMCC, Dubai, provides a comprehensive framework for organising and managing multi-national economic development and trade platforms,” said Ahmed.

MIE has been organising China Trade Week platforms since 2012 in the Middle East and Africa, including Ethiopia, Kenya, Ghana, South Africa, Nigeria, UAE and Morocco. New territories will be added by 2020.

Running from 9-11 September (Monday to Wednesday), The Big 5 Construct Nigeria and CCW will its open doors from 11:00-19:00 daily.
